Itenary Details

Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Mumbai International Airport receive a warm welcome from our representative who will help you with guided transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day leisurely. (Standard check-in time is 2:00PM. Early check-in is subject to availability).

Delhi

After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi, tour starts with Old Delhi drive past of Red Fort. Visit the Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. Later take a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk . Afternoon visit New Delhi, which will include photo stop at- Parliament House, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, one of the best examples of a Mughal Garden Tomb. Later visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret. Overnight.

Delhi - Agra

After breakfast travel to Agra, home to India’s most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit to Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar, which is a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture. Also visit Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb; nicknamed as baby Taj. Later visit to Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), a UNESCO Heritage Site, to catch the sunset at the Taj Mahal. Overnight.

Agra – Lucknow

After breakfast travel to Lucknow ‘The City of Nawabs’. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit Bara Imambara, built as part of the relief project for famine held in 1784. Visit Bhul Bhulaiya, a maze of tunnels inside the Bara Imambara, the way out of which can be found only with a guide. Visit Rumi Darwaza, built in unique Awadh style, Chotta Imambara, another famine relief project. Visit the La Marteniere College & the Government Museum. Visit the Chikan Workshops to see artisan’s working on the chikan cloth. Later evening we take you for food walk to allow you to experience the best of the best eateries. Overnight.

Lucknow – Shravasti

After breakfast travel to Shravasti. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed for guided visit to Jetavana Monastery, where Lord Buddha passed the greater part of his monastic life & preached after the enlightenment. Also visit the Anandabodhi Tree where Lord Buddha meditated. Overnight.

Day 6 : Shravasti – Lumbini

After breakfast travel to Lumbini, a UNESCO World Heritage Site & the birth place of Lord Buddha. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit Lumbini Park where the Ashoka pillar carries the inscription. Visit Mayadevi temple devoted to the mother of Lord Buddha. Also visit China temple which is beautiful pagoda style temple with many prayer and meditation cells. Overnight.

Day 7 : Lumbini – Kushinagar

After breakfast travel to Kushinagar. On arrival check-in at hotel. The followers of Buddhism and Buddhist Sector in India, especially from Asian countries, wish to visit this place at least once in their lifetime. Visit Mahaparinirvana Temple which houses the “Dying Buddha” & Nirvana Chaitya. Visit Ramabhar Stupa where Buddha’s ashes were cremated. Also visit the Myanmar Temple. Overnight.

Day 08: Kushinagar – Patna

After breakfast travel to Patna, the capital city of Bihar state. En-route visit Vaishali, where Gautama Buddha preached his last sermon. Visit Ashoka Pillar & Buddha Stupa On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight.

Day 09: Patna – Rajgir

After breakfast travel to Rajgir, the city of Rajgir was the first capital of the kingdom of Magadha. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed for guided city tour of Rajgir. Visit Nalanda University. Visit Vaitarni Dham, Japanese Temple & Saptdhara Kund. Overnight.

Day 10: Rajgir – Bodhgaya

This morning after breakfast visit Vulture’s Peak mountain.  Later travel to Bodhgaya. On arrival check-in at hotel. Afternoon proceed for guided city tour of Bodhgaya. Visit Mahabodhi Temple Complex housing Mahabodhi Temple & Bodhi Tree. Visit the Great Buddha Statue. Also visit Dungeshwari Caves where Lord Buddha is believed to have mediated. Overnight.

Day 11: Bodhgaya – Varanasi

After breakfast travel to Varanasi. On arrival check in to the hotel.  Later in the evening witness grand prayer ceremony on the Ghats of river Ganges with boat ride. Overnight

Day 12: Varanasi

Early morning sunrise boat ride on river Ganges. Proceed for city tour of Varanasi visiting various temples like Kashi Vishwanath Temple & Bharat Mata Temple. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath visiting Sarnath museum, having Buddhist relics and antiques (Museum is closed on Friday). Overnight.

Day 13: Varanasi – Delhi

This morning after breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight to Delhi. On arrival check-in at hotel. Car and driver at disposal to visit the local markets for shopping. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 14: Delhi Depart

After a hearty breakfast, check out from hotel and travel to Delhi International Airport by Air Conditioned vehicle to board the flight for home town. (Reach 3 hours prior for international flights).

General Terms and Conditions for Booking

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
  • All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
  • 5% GST is applicable to the package cost.
  • Standard check in time at the hotels is 12 PM and check out time is 9 AM.
  • The Vehicle will be available only till 8 PM.
  • Meals other than those specified are an exclusion to the package.
  • Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
  • ACs don't work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
  • Hotels are subject to availability and if they are unavailable, guests will be accommodated in similar property.
  • Monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
  • Children above 5 years of age will be considered as adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
  • Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
  • All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
  • Prices might greatly vary on Blackout Dates(special dates like Diwali, Christmas, New Years, etc). In order to get the best rates for these days you can connect with us directly.
  • The prices may vary based on the season time and the number of travellers travelling per day in a specific region as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.
  • Any deviation from the planned route of vehicle at customer's request during the tour will be chargeable on per Km. basis.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items at the hotels/resorts/camps will be charged at actuals.
  • Personal expenses like portages, tips, laundry, mineral water etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost.
  • TravelWholeIndia reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbances that might occur (i.e. severe weather conditions, political unrests or others).
  • Any rescheduling/rearrangement of package due to circumstances beyond TravelwholeIndia's control might invite additional charges for hotels and/or vehicle.
  • In case a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor TravelwholeIndia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
  • The extra adventure activities and ropeways/cable cars will be at your own cost and are not included in the tour unless specified exclusively in the inclusions of the product.
  • The driver might turn off the AC on hilly terrains as it might become difficult to drive on such roads.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the date of travel, 25.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation is made between 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel, 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation is made within 15 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
