Itenary Details

Delhi - Rishikesh (255 km / approx 6-7 Hrs)

Welcome you’re “Chardham Yatra” You are greeted and assisted on arrival at Delhi Airport/ Rly Station Delhi, after pickup proceeds to Rishikesh, upon arrival check in at the hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities. Rishikesh has spectacular view of jungle-clad hills. It has also confluence of River Ganges and Chandrabhaga. The glorious attraction of Rishikesh is none other than the great river Ganges herself, running rapidly throughout the city. In the ancient time and still so many yogis, rishis, sages and sannyasis attracted to Rishikesh to practice yoga in this peaceful location. Since then, Rishikesh has known as an abode of sages. It is a holy town with so many ashrams and it is famous for the yoga worldwide & also now world Yoga Capital of the world. Every year during the March month one week long International yoga festival is hosted here. Thousands of people attracted every year to Rishikesh for spiritual relief, peace, learns yoga, adventure and to take a dip for salvation. The famous among them were Beatles, Kate wins let and many more others celebrities. It is believed that by meditation in Rishikesh one can get "Moksha" (liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth) as well as holy dip in the river Ganges. Overnight at Hotel in Rishikesh. Rishikesh - Barkot (175 km / approx 06-07 Hrs )

Today morning Vehicle will go for registration and hill certification. It will take time of 02 to 04 hrs in mean while guest will go for sightseeing of Ram Jhula and Triveni Ghat where you can take holy deep in river Ganga. After that guest depart for Barkot. Which is a beautiful hill located on the foot of Yamunotri. As you drive via Narendra Nagar road is good and drive time is less .On arrival at Barkot, check-in to your hotel/camp. Rest of the day is free to relax and self preparation Pahad (hiII) Yare of Yamunotri the next day. Overnight at Hotel/camp Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Barkot - Yamunotri Darshan - Kharshali (40 Kames + 06km trek /4-5Hrs one way)

After breakfast, depart for Hanumanchatti (40 Km), Janki Chatti (8 km). Here you will begin the first Pahad Yare of Yamunotri (6 Km trek). You have an option of hiring palki or a horse for your trek( direct payment basis).The trek passes through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 m), the western most shrine of the Chardhams, is snuggled in the Banderpunch range (6,361 m). Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna, the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death. Yamuna is also the daughter of Surya the Sun. The actual source of the river originates from Champasar Glacier 1 km a head of the shrine, at an altitude of 4,321 mts. On arrival by afternoon in Yamunotri take holy dip in Yamuna River and perform Pooja. Today overnight at Kharshali . Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Kharshali - Uttarkashi (170km / approx 4-5 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the Kharshali hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check in into the hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, temples & ashrams. In the evening, Visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Day 05- Uttarkashi – Gangotri - Uttarkashi (190km / approx 07-08 Hrs)

Early morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Gangotri. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas,

 

Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 m. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century's temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. After performing Pooja Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi.

Day 06 – Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (210 KM / approx drive 07-08 Hrs)

Leave for your next destination, Guptkashi after having your breakfast early in the morning. On reaching, check-in to the hotel. Guptkashi is located at a distance of 47 km from the holy shrine, Kedarnath. The town holds immense religious importance as it houses famous ancient Ardhnareshwar Temple.

Day 07 Guptkashi - Sonparyag - Kedarnath (30 Kames +19 Kames Trek / 6-7 Hrs )

Early morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From where, you will start your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a doli or a horse for your trek (on direct payment basis)

Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund. "Jai Bholenath" chants echoes in the mountains. The mists envelop the mountains and slowly lift away. When you can view the picturesque beauty you are left mesmerized. On arrival check in at Govt. Camps/Lodges.

 

Kedarnath: Set in the beautiful Mandakini valley, cupped by lofty peaks, the majestic Kedarnath Temple stands on a glacial terrace, remnant of an ancient glacier – long since melted. This is Lord Shiv’s territory – and the region is a living testimony to his adventures and exploits. The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavs, protagonists of the Mahabharat, as a tribute to Lord Shiv having forgiven them for fratricide after an exciting chase through the Himalayas. The journey to Kedarnath – the most significant of the 12 jyotirlings located in different parts of India -- is to relive these ancient tales and legends, and to become one with God.

Day 08 Kedarnath - Sonparyag - Guptkashi (19km trek + 30km drives/05-06 Hrs)

Early morning you get up before dawn and after taking bath you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek’ Pooja (on direct payment basis) to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity etc. After darshan and puja you come out of the temple and return to the Govt. Camps / Lodges.

Later you'll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. The vehicles wait for you in Sonprayag Car Parking and you’ll drive to your hotel (Guptkashi/Rudraprag).

Day 09 Guptkashi - Badrinath (190km / approx drive07-08 Hrs)

Today morning, check out of the hotel at 07:30 am and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After having your breakfast in the morning, Badrinath is an important pilgrimage site which holds immense importance for both Hindus and Buddhists. Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is set at a height of 3133 meter.

After driving through some wonderful Ghat road you arrive at Badrinath. On arrival check into the hotel. After some rest and refreshments you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But first you have to go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take bath and then go to the temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. Later back to hotel. 

 

Badrinath: The Badrinath shrine is believed to be as old as time itself. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple was re-established by Adi Shankracharya in the 8th century as part of his mission to revitalise Hinduism. Located on the banks of the Rishi Ganga (Alaknanda), the temple, and the numerous ancient sites around it, is indeed a worthy goal to aim for. The last 11 kilometres to Badrinath is a steep ascent. At Devdarshni, the vista of the entire Badrinath valley appears before you – the township, the magnificent façade of the temple and the twin peaks Nar and Narayan as if standing guard on its either side, and the Neelkanth shining like a crown on its head! And immediately you feel the spiritual upliftment that such a magnificent site inspires.

Day 10 Badrinath - Kirtinagar (185km / approx drive 08-09 Hrs)

Today morning, visit Badrinath Temple for Darshan. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you can leave for local sightseeing at Badrinath. Visit major attractions of Badrinath such as Mana Village which is last village of India, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple.

In the afternoon, check out from the hotel and head towards Kirtinagar via Joshimath. En-route visit Karanprayag. Also, the town features stunning natural beauty and tranquility.

Day 11 Kirtinagar - Haridwar (145km / approx drive04-05 Hrs)

Early morning, after breakfast, you drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in at hotel. In evening go to see world famous ghat Har-Ki-Pauri where you can take holy bath & participate Ganga Aarti.

Day 12 Haridwar - Delhi (210km / approx drive 05-06 Hrs)

Morning breakfast at hotel. Drive back to Delhi. On reaching Delhi transfer to Delhi airport Return back your home with sweet spiritual yatra.

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
  • All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
  • 5% GST is applicable to the package cost.
  • Standard check in time at the hotels is 12 PM and check out time is 9 AM.
  • The Vehicle will be available only till 8 PM.
  • Meals other than those specified are an exclusion to the package.
  • Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
  • ACs don't work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
  • Hotels are subject to availability and if they are unavailable, guests will be accommodated in similar property.
  • Monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
  • Children above 5 years of age will be considered as adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
  • Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
  • All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
  • Prices might greatly vary on Blackout Dates(special dates like Diwali, Christmas, New Years, etc). In order to get the best rates for these days you can connect with us directly.
  • The prices may vary based on the season time and the number of travellers travelling per day in a specific region as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.
  • Any deviation from the planned route of vehicle at customer's request during the tour will be chargeable on per Km. basis.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items at the hotels/resorts/camps will be charged at actuals.
  • Personal expenses like portages, tips, laundry, mineral water etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost.
  • TravelWholeIndia reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbances that might occur (i.e. severe weather conditions, political unrests or others).
  • Any rescheduling/rearrangement of package due to circumstances beyond TravelwholeIndia's control might invite additional charges for hotels and/or vehicle.
  • In case a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor TravelwholeIndia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
  • The extra adventure activities and ropeways/cable cars will be at your own cost and are not included in the tour unless specified exclusively in the inclusions of the product.
  • The driver might turn off the AC on hilly terrains as it might become difficult to drive on such roads.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the date of travel, 25.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation is made between 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel, 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation is made within 15 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
